Don't Monkey Around

Don't Monkey Around

Whew! We are living in some strange times and they seem to be getting even more strange if you become consumed with every bit of information that's out there. For the sake of those triggered, we'll call this new outbreak that's caused some states to declare a State of Emergency, "primate bumps".

Stylists and salons across the country are concerned about the safety of their clients and more importantly, themselves. One salon owner posted on her social media account that she will "refuse to service anyone with blisters, open wounds, and/or pimples that ooze". Yikes but understandable. The best thing we can do in these wild times regardless of the industry or environment you are in is to seek medical attention if you are experiencing symptoms; not a hookah lounge and definitely not hotel hot tub but a trusted healthcare professional.

If you want to live a healthy life as a wig girl, it is imperative that you are taking the necessary steps to reflect that. Here's a few things you can do:

1. Take care of your spiritual, physical, and emotional well being. Eat a well balanced diet along with incorporating minerals and vitamins as part of your day. Gather with likeminded individuals with similar spiritual beliefs, pray daily, forgive always, and live in love and not fear.

2. Clean high touch surfaces regularly and as often as needed.

3. The obvious -- wash your hands

4. And last but not least and as stated before , if you are experiencing symptoms of anything out of the ordinary, get the appropriate help you need.

That's all I have for now. And I must add, the views and opinions expressed are those of my own and intended for informational purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.

Peace and Wig Grease!
